Fundraiser for Scholarship Fund

Big Buck & Doe Contest and Shed Antler Drive

We wanted to create a fundraiser for Jaxon's Memorial Scholarship that would completely fit Jaxon's personality to a T.

Jaxon LOVED the outdoors, whether it was hunting, fishing, or trapping.   He especially loved to help guide others around and locate deer.  He could spot a deer in the brush a mile and a half away.  He loved being able to take someone out and go hunt with him, he was so happy to share the time and the hunting lifestyle with others.

Donate any Deer or Elk Sheds for a great cause

      Shed Antler Drive

We will also be accepting any deer sheds that you may want to get rid of that are laying around.  Whether we were checking cows or fencing it always turned out to be a shed hunt half the time.  All the proceeds from sheds that are sold by the Jaxon Klempel Memorial Fund will go directly into the scholarship fund.

      Get the youth out there!!!

      Big Doe Contest

We added in 2021 the Big Doe contest as well.  We felt that this was a huge need with all the youth and mentored tags that are out there.  No need to bring in your doe for the contest however.  Simply measure the lengths of your does ears and the distance between them.  Then submit the total lengths and a photo to jklempel@sdplains.com or text them to 605-641-4328
